Ahhh summer break.

I am glad that this semester is over, it was a long one with many papers and tests. But I learned a lot this semester. I not only learned the academic junk, but I also learned about life, friendship, and that it is possible to over come any obstacle that might come your way. (Dr. Wooley's tests!!) As, you know I am going to school to become a nurse. We get to start doing actual nursing things next semester. I am so excited. I really can not wait to do the on hands stuff. I really am excited to be able to change someones life someday for the better. I hope that this semester is a good one!! But for now ahhh summer break!!

See what happens when you don't meet your yearly quota!!

So, Jared and I have been married for almost 8 years. And every year since then someone in our small little family has been to the hospital for some reason or another. 2001-2002- with our baby girl who is in heaven, 2003- when I broke my arm. 2004- Joseph and his 7 weeks in the NICU. 2005-more of Jospeh. 2006-Hyrum, and surgeries. 2007- Jospeh's intestinal surgery, Hyrum and his cleft repair. 2008-Hospital Free!!!! And all because we went a whole year with out any hospital visits we get the WHAMMY!!! Jared gets Cancer, so now we are regulars at the hospital. I think that our little family keeps the university hospitals in business. Some day you will see a Collins wing at those hospitals. So, Jared and I were talking and have come to the conclusion, that we must keep our yearly quota filled. So every year someone is going to break something or need stitches, just so that we don't get the big whammy again. Sounds like a plan.

Our crazy past 3 months.

Well I just finished my last final for my second semester in nursing school. Boy am I glad to be finished. This semester has been a little bit crazy. At the beginning of the semester Jared and I decided that it would be prudent of me to take 23 credit hours, to try to get as many generals finished as soon as possible. We figured hey why not, he did not have a job so I could fit in the time to do it. SO we did. Little did we know just how crazy our lives would become.......

to be continued...
